Getting off the Heads

So I got everything off my right head and it should come off but wont come off, its stuck on there good. Hopefully im am just having a brain fart and it should come off but I dont know what to do.

You sure you got all the head bolts out?

There are a few outside the valve cover that get hidden under crap.

Yeah Im sure because I counted 8 bolts from that side, and the exhaust is completely off too.

I like to leave the exhaust manifold on. Gives you something to grab.


Stick two bolts partway back in the hole and pull over on them. Don't put them in far enough to get into the block, just so they are sticking in the head.
