I almost managed to get myself stuck for the very first time tonight.

I was driving my sister home from work and decided I wanted to bury my passenger side wheels in the snow bank at the side of the road for fun. Forgot that the side of that road is a ditch, not a burm... needed 4Low to get out and still had all 4 slipping around while I was climbing out.

Just get off yer azz and go play already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :headbang:

Geez, aren't you old enough to know if you ignore the 4x4 bs that people will eventually give it up?!?!?!

Get out there and wind 'em up, man! :icon_hornsup:

That's a good amount of snow, now find someone with a garage and do a fullsize 4x4 SAS!

:D

I thought you were broke. SAS costs big $$$.

i talked to my grandma earlier today and she said that forked river area is suppost to get 12 inches. scott...looks like you are gonna hae your work cut out for you when you go play tommorow

Uhhh, I was making fun of THEIR trucks there, man. Did you ever read up on the common problems that 4x4s have?

Only ever had 1 problem with my 4x4. The guy I used to take it to couldn't ever put the t-case back in right. Twice he pulled the trans, once for a clutch, once for a slave and BOTH time I got it home, had to use the 4x4 for bad weather, pulled on the stick, heard CLUNK and it was still in 4x2. He could never get the linkage on right, so it would pop off and stay in 2HI. I don't take it there anymore.

i would not have given him a second chance to screw it up...you must be a little more forgiving than i am. do it to me once shame on you, do it to me twice shame on me!

lol, my bumper might have damage from a plow truck , im going to bed now, ill post pics tmrw of my truck....good night TRS

Before I bought my Bronco II for winter, I put 5 60lb bags (300lbs total) in the bed of my truck wedged between the wheel wells. It stays there, even in panic stops and also gives a lot smoother ride over the rough roads. It costed me about $20 or so.

Not too happy with my Pirrelli Scorpions...begining to think they aren't worth anything in the snow...
