I have a 1990 Ford Ranger. I do not use it to haul stuff normally. Maybe a small peice of furniture or appliance once or twice a year. I want to stick with 14 inch tires, but my question is can I do passenger tires or do they have to be lt. This is a 2wd vehicle used as listed above, mainly a daily driver with occasional fishing trips. Also to be noted may want to eventually pull small 16 ft john boat.

You will be just fine with a passenger tire.

You can use a passenger tire on your truck. The lt tires are usually made to hold more weight and take more abuse such as off road. The passenger tires are usually cheaper than truck tires. Go for it.

Brett...hmm whats the odds I am from Farmington IL originally but now live in Macomb
