how big cuz thats where choosing the right tire come in play

planning on a 33" no smaller than a 32" prolly 12.5 wide

i feel like i have no need for them, it only rains 2 weeks out of the year here and no snow, id be all sand and hard pack.

I don't see why the opinion of the at2s I'd is so poor. Maybe they are inconsistently made, because I love the set I've got. They are quiet, do good in snow, dirt, and not as bad in mud as I expected them to be. Good on ice too.

This one set I had put on 60k miles ago. They might make it through one more year. But that's probably the end of the line. I've had 2 sets of bfgs that I thought were great. But these have lasted twice as long, and worn more evenly, been more reliable, and I Havent had them balanced since the day they were put on.

But, as expected, they are no mud tire. But I play hard and am not easy on them. They have been abused and never once have they been in a tire shop. No punctures or anything.

The big negative, they are heavy as hell, but worth the extra weight since they give a tough DD tire.

But the red letters are SWEET!! if my truck wasn't so torqueless I'd actually lift it a touch and get a set. But I'd have to gear it too aggressively to turn them.

Don't buy the red letter Grabbers, they're garbage. They look "cool" until those sweet red letters turn pink in a couple months. The Nitto Terra Grapplers I had previously on the same truck out performed them everywhere but in the mud. I bought the Generals new and ran them for about 12k (they were half gone or more at that point) until I sold the truck they were on. It's the only tire I've purchased that I would never buy again, and I would never recommend them to anyone. You can find a much better tire that will do everything you need it to do.

speaking from experience they are heavy as hell,load up in the mud,and are pricey for what they are. there's cheaper tires that will preform just as well if not better.

I'm starting to think general tires just doesn't make their tires with consistent quality. I've heard many people who all seem to have had 100% different experiences with them. I'm feeling lucky with the ones I got. Probably won't get another set because I'm losing confidence in whether I'll get anything similar to the good ones I've got now.
