so me in the boys got to talking about gears and i was wondering wat would 4.56? do in a 91 ext cab ranger with a 4.0 and 33's?

I can tell you that I loved 4.88s and 33s with my 4.0. That thing tackled highway-on-ramps like a bat out of hell on NOS.

4.56's and 33's will be about perfect.

Hell i'm running 4.56's and 36's and its fine on the highway. I can do 100km/h up hills in OD just fine. Thats fast enough for me in a lifted truck with no sway bars

well i was wondering cuz i got a frend whos got some he wants to get rid of, and im runnin 33's on stock gearing and it frusterates me, its hard to pass on the highway so im lookin for somethin else, good to know itll b about perfect

I wanna get rid of my 4.10's and go with some 4.56's or lower, weell see
