gear ratio for 33

hey guys im looking at changing my gearing i got 33/13.50 ltbs stock 410s gears with a automatic transmission 2.9l its a dog will putting a 5 speed in help and should i go with 488 or 513 its a daily drive but gets wheeled on weekends

Either of those ratios should work well. I'd suggest 5.13:1 if there's any possibility of going up to 35" tires in the future.

ill try the 513 id like to go with 35 later on now will switch out the auto to a 5 speed help and get better mpg im only getting around 9 to 11

I usually get 20-22 MPG (hwy, 60-65mph) with my BII (2.9L, M5OD, 5.13s, 35s). Around town I guess it's maybe around 17 (don't really do enough in-town driving to where I can gauge it accurately).

Having an auto behind a 2.9L no doubt does turn it into a gas pig.
