gas mileage?

Heyy I'll be buying a ranger soon. I'm torn between two choices. I'm all for gas mileage and was wondering what a v6 2000 extended cab 4x4 on 2wd will get for gas mileage. It's an automatic. That's choice number one. My second choice will be the 1999 v4 regular cab 2wd.

Will I notice a big difference between the two?

Yes. And the 1999 model is an inline 4 cylinder, not V4. You'd probably get around 15 mpg in town with the 4x4 V6 model and around 20-25 with the regular cab 2wd 4 cylinder model, based on the other threads in this forum discussing the same topic.

I'd get a 5 speed it saves you gas.
