Buy the PA gap guards when I buy the 3" body lift or do DIY gap guards? Or no gap guards?
Erik

Yea do it yourself and save your money, its super easy.

DIY and PLEASE do them... trucks without gap guards look funny.

Garden edging.

I bought gapguards for all my trucks and I love them. Only way to go.

I figured it looked better with a little bit of a gap than hunks of plastic that looks like I am trying to cover up the gap. IMO the gap guards look worse than the actual gap.

I did take an old tractor inner tube and fill in around the engine bay to keep mud and water from being thrown in by the wheels.

Here is my 99 with just the suspension lift:

Here it is with the 3 inch bl and the gap guard (PA brand):

This a huge photo, guys. Just so you can see how clean it looks. I bought the PA gapguards on Ebay for $25.95 with shipping several years back. You can look on EBay for them or just search on Google for truck sites as well.

i made mine out of stair rubber you can buy at a home depot or lowes then i sprayed them with undercoating to make it look like they are not there.

Hey guys thanks for all the great ideas. I will probably be doing some sort of DIY on the gap guards.
