well im scraping the '79 bronco cause the body and chassis is shot, so i wanna put the 351M, C6, NP205 and D44/9" in the ranger, so i was wondering what i have to do to the axles, like for the coil springs and shock mounts and rad arms, i dont wanna narrow the axles so what has to be done there? also with the rear leaf perches and shock mounts, what must be done there?

IF this do get done, it probably wont be for probably a year, im gonna get it all out of the bronco and rebuild it all first
thanks

is the frame that bad? if the frame is salvageable why dont you just install the ranger cab and maybe bed onto the bronco frame?

the rear easy just relocate the spring perhes and shock mounts on the 9inch

the front, have to build mounts to connect the radius arm mounts to the frame(since the bronco frame is wider), and you can move the buckets in on the axle to match the ranger or bring the ranger buckets out

ok thanks man, the frame IS that bad, its horrible

and for the rad arms, shold i make the mounts sticking off of the frame farther or closer to the middle of the axle? thanks

I dont think the fullwidth frame is that much wider IIRC, you can probably just pull the radius arms in with the flex in the bushings and bolt them onto the frame.

thank you thats what i was wondering, ill measure it up tonight
