Full Width SAS on '90 Danger the 4th

Oh I know. Especially in my area. That is why I am taking this step :)

I'm sure I can find you one cheaper than that down near me. Those things an rangers seem to find me down here. I have 3 more rangers coming soon and got a 93 f350 all in the past few weeks. I got all of them for scrap price from friends who were going to junk them lol.

That is pretty much what I am going for. I really like that. I would just need more tree guarding. I also am a die hard manual trans guy.
I want to be able to take my son to daycare in my wheeler. Work. Pick him up and roll out for the night.

How do the chromes handle the 39.5s? I was worried about 37s but BrayD seems to do just fine with them. He doesnt have a V8 though.

He hasnt broken anything that i know of. But his driving style is fairly laid back. Same as bray more thought less throttle. That being said he by no means babies it

As for the stick thats all id change about that truck. Shouldnt be hard to put a stick behind a 302 but having never done it i dont know how happy the ecu would be

For the ecu there are companies that you can send it to and get a custom tune for a stick and it will eliminate all of the shifting and trans codes for a check engine light. I have a buddy that did it with a 98 vortec motor he swapped into a 79 k30.

Full floats are so much nicer to work with than c clip Axles. That is for sure.

Pulled the 8.8 apart. Havn't looked inside for about 3 yrs? Maybe 2. It was super clean. I was surprised. In reality, this axle has less than 300 miles on it. So I should not be surprised.

Putting that welded diff in.

Done.
Drove it around my property. Holy cow. The fun factor of this truck has just multiplied. No idea why I took so long to do this.

Dont mind the paint. This is 2nd axle I ever set and got a little heavy on the paint.

And I have been driving the dually a little to break in the gears. Loving these 3.55s

Once you wheel with a truck locked front/rear you will never understand how you did it without..... same goes for dual cases......wink wink.

Yup... wheeled open front locked rear for years. Went to a locked front/rear will never go back.

Side note. Wheeled open/open one trip on my ranger when i first built it... horrible. Its welded front/back now.

Also: i wish i had 4:10s in my f350... lol
