Full size drive train in ranger

I dropped a 302 out of an 89 Cougar into my 1984 ranger and mated it with an 84 F-150 standard 435 four speed tranny and a NP208 transfer. I put a new clutch fork in and throw out bearing and the external slave is bled but, even with the clutch petal fully depressed it will not disengage the clutch... . Any ideas?? do i have the wrong fork? any support would be appreciated.

You could have the wrong input shaft, bell housing. Just a few ideas. Its just something your gonna have to play with.

Had that same issue. not sure if it's technically solved yet. I put a bolt through the clutch master cylinder arm/shaft thing but didn't attach it to the pedal, it's just sitting in the bend of the arm with washers on either side. I also re-dented the hole on the fork about 1/2" inward.

My clutch disengages but I'm sure there's better ways.

What you described it almost exactly my build, I even have a '84 F150 bellhousing, though my tranny is a T-18, which is still almost the same.

Stock Ranger master with the F150 slave right?
