Fuel Sending Unit

I need a sender for an 84 2.8L 4X4. None of the parts houses lists it, and none of the online used part searches has turned one up. I saw a reference on one of the Ranger forums (not sure which one) that indicated Pepboys could special order one.

If anyone has gotten the correct sender from Pepboys, please speak up. The closest Pepboys to me is 125 miles away.

Does that look like the one you need? They do say you have to call and order it.

I do have that one on the way. It is a little different, but maybe it will work.

That one does not work. It's part no. FG77A. I can only surmise that it's for the BroncoII. The travel of the float is much greater.
