Fuel pump replacement was a bitch!

I remembered when i first got it my 83, I had to replace the fuel pump. and getting to the bolts was a biyatch! But it runs much better now, besides rough start idle, and to much blow by due to the push rod gaskets are worn and need to be replaced. That should be fun. :icon_thumby:
 
a wobble extension helps.
 
Yeah, I didn't have any at the time. I recently got some from Harbor Freight. I love that place. :headbang:KH
 
The push rods have no gaskets.

Blow by is usually caused by shot rings... not an overly easy fix.
 
Sure it is, just slap a 289 in it LOL :icon_thumby:
