Fuel Pump Fuse/Relay

Trying to get an old 2.9 up and running, but she's getting no fuel, and I'm hearing no buzz from either of my fuel pumps,

Could someone tell me what the fuel pump relay and fuse look like? or take a picture of them? or just tell me roughly where they are and what colours the wires coming to/from them are? Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Ragin

p.s. glad to see TRS is still alive and doing well! :headbang:

Edit- I guess I should mention the truck is an 86 reg cab 4x4, with an in-cab wiring harness from an 88 2wd x-cab, but I don't think the harness is the problem as I've had this combo up and running before, and now I'm getting no signs of fuel-life at all.

passenger side inner fender, next to the airbox underneath the plastic cover, the relay has a green base. there is no fuse for the fuel pump , there is a fusible link though, it goes from that relay right to the starter switch. check the inertia switch down underneath the heater box inside the cab as well.

Thanks for the advice Holy, changed the relay but still no dice, I guess I should actually check to see if there's power going to the relay! :icon_twisted:

Reset the inertia switch, no avail, I'll try and track down that fusible link,

Question, if I were to just re-power the fuel pump relay with from an igntion-on power source, would that work? would it be in any way dangerous? (aside from my inertia switch being circumvented that is)

Edit- turns out the relay power in was simply not activating, but even when jumped the relay is performing as it should (only active for 2 seconds unless the engine is running) it's not running the best at the moment, but a full tune-up and some seafoam and we'll see where she's at, thanks again Holyford, actually being able to find that relay was wonderful, can't thank ya enough!
