i am stumped i havent been too much under the truck but i noticed a small leak , everytime i drive the truck , from a smallpuddle on frame to leak marks were the lines are.( note :the three lines webbed together under the truck , are they all three fuel lines?) anyway , i need to know what all three lines do , and about how much does a new one cost , and the hard factor of changing it ... also woundered my truck has no cat's and the muffler stops at the oval with no full pipe or muffler is that reducing my mpg's? thank you

I believe that two of the three lines are your Fuel supply line and Fuel return line. They are probably the two bigger lines. the third line is probably a brake line.

As for replacing them, shouldn't be too hard. you will probably have to get a tube bending tool and flaring tool to splice them. The lines themselves are pretty inexpensive, maybe 10 bucks for a section of line that is 8 feet long.

And put cats back on it, your truck will not only run better, but its the law :)

Could the third line be for venting the gas tank?

the lines are plasic and webbed together i have not seen anything like it just really didnt have any clue... do you know how to replace the plastic could i splice in with new metal line??

Pressure line, return line and vapor vent line

It's probably the return line that's leaking because if the pressure line was
leaking it would leak fuel like the old faithful guyser

I've seen both kinds of leaks...

The pressure leak was very disturbing. I was 100-odd miles from home and
I had no way to fix it with me so I simply drove like a maniac (any fuel I vurned driving was nothing compared to what I was losing overboard.

my truck pissed out nearly 40gallons of fuel getting home... fortunatly I started the drive with around 60gallons on board.

By comparison the return line leak was trivial (a dinner plate sized damp spot every time I parked)
