Fuel injectors 2.9 vs 4.0

What fuel injectors are stock for the 2.9, and for the 4.0?

The reason I am asking is a have a set of new injectors that were in my 2.9 that have a white body, and a set from a old 4.0 are red. is the color of the body different on diferent injectors (say 14 vs 19 or 24 lb)

I need to find out if a can reuse the new ones from the 2.9 for a new 4.0 block. I dont think so, but am making sure.

IF your 4.0 came with "red top" injectors you can't use the
2.9 injectors in your 4.0.

The 4.0 longblock the shop got came with nothing. The fuel rails, lower and upper intake, came from the 4.0 I got the injectors from.

The idiots at Marshall told me a few days ago it was a 90 block. That may be, but I looked at it today, and the heads are 93TM, and the upper and lower intake are from the 93 I parted out. I have a guy on this forum who was nice enough to go find a '90 4.0 to pull the wiring harness out of for me. Will I need the 93 harness now?

I should have paid that broncoii guy from provo to put it in for me and got a refund from the shop LOL.
