fuel gauge OHMS between 87 and 94???

Are the OHMS on a fuel gauge the same with the older dashs (87-88) and the newer dash's (89-94)? Doing the dash conversion and wanted to double check, thanks!

Well looks like they are different, now just trying to hunt down the values between the two.

I can't remember but did the fuel pump assemblies have removable sending units?

screw it, i'll just be smart and find a 89+ supercab sending unit

Empty 22.5 ohms - 145 ohms Full from the 93 EVTM.

i have a cluster. it's an 87 supercab with 94 explorer everything else. trying to think of ways to adapt the explorer tank to the truck but it doesn't sound like it's possible. So i'll just find an 89+ supercab tank/sending unit to get my fuel gauge to read right.
