Fuel filter removal 2.3 Ranger

How do I remove the fuel filter from my 97 2.3 Ranger?

Do I need a special tool ?

One side should just be a clip, and the other side uses a fuel/ac disconnect tool.

i did it a couple of weeks ago, i bought the cheap disconnect tool set from oriellys and could not get the filter off, i brought them back and bought the higher dollar set ($12.00) and it came off very easy. goodluck
