me and my dad have been building and wheeling a 74 cj5 for the past couple years. we finally decided to make the swap to a fuel cell. being that there is chance for roll over we bought a tip-over valve. the questions we have are
1. routing?
what is the best way to run the vent hose and where should it be. we sometimes do water crossings so underneath doesnt seem like a great idea.
2. Fumes?
since there is essentially a hole in the top of the tank wouldnt it be leaking gas fumes. we dont want to ever have to smell gas. especially in such a small enclosure(when we occasionally put the top on). how strong are the fumes and is there a way to avoid them? would it be worth it to buy a charcoal canister and hook that up?
