ya but word on the streets is they wear out permaturly.

a long travel IFS would do great on trails. definitly have to run a double rate or even triple rate coils.

You know what I wanna do if I had the money? I'd do the dixon kit ONTOP of my superlift kit. Then run longer, taller c-o's. Should work just fine too since the dixon kit uses the stock ranger knuckle. Pull my bodylift off, throw my deavers in the back. One sweet ass rig.

Aussie Locker is pretty much just like a Lock-Rite, and the Aussie is the only one I know of for the M35 in the front of 98+ Rangers.

nevermind that, i googles it and the pricks discontinued the lock-rite for the ifs dana 35. i dont know about the aussie.

i also wanted to add that i like my ifs, yeah sure it costs a fortune to lift but i like the fact that the diff sits up higher- one less part to get you stuck on the trail. almost makes me wish they had a kit to put one in the rear.

Is the 2000 models 27 spline in the front? Cause that is all that Aussie makes I believe. I wouldn't mind throwing something in the front eventually, wonder if the Torsen would be a straight add on?

A front limited slip for 98+ 4x4 Rangers. Torsen is the brand, T2 is the line of limited slips. Been in the works on and off for the past 3 years or so.

Currently, the only traction aid avaliable for our front M35, is an Aussie Locker, which is quite violent in 4wd.

And before anyone says 'it's worthless to do anything to an IFS', you can go ahead and hold it in. Good for you that you've got a solid axle, but you know, tons and tons of us certainly don't need one or even want one to get done what we want to get done.

You forgot one Quaife diff they have one that does fit 98-up :D. Works the same way as the Torsen. Bad part is the cost but life time warranty even used in racing vehicle. If wish Torsen had theres out earlier this as year as planned in Jan. But I already have Quaife diff in the front now.

ya, dixon bros is sweet but Brenthel Industries is even better for less or the same price.

plus, you can just make taller shock hoops for longer coilovers.

so u wanna trade trucks?

Richmond Powetrax No-Slip is available too, and it has better manners than the Lock-Rite/Aussie design (at least in rear applications).

Jay......yes. At least on 00.5+ live axles. No harmful effects, you won't be able to feel it, no loss in mileage or added tire wear when in 2wd. I assume the same for the PVH 98-00's.

Everyone whos ran the Aussie in the front can't even tell it's there in 2wd(in live axle trucks).

WOW....list price of $1700? no thanks!

I never heard of it until you mentioned it.

does ayone have the link for this aussie locker thats similar to the lockrite, i tried googlin it and was havin a tough time with it. i read on an explorer forum (not rangerstation) and they said that the carrier is a little different on the australian explorer and they need to make some changes to the aussie locker to make it fit the american explorer ifs dana 35. is the dana 35 in the ranger the same as the one in the explorer?

95+ expo and 98+ ranger front ends are the same. IDK about 02+ expos(not counting sports or sport tracs...those have the same as Ranger)
