Will these rotors front fit a 1998 Ranger 2.5 XLT 2WD Standard cab? Seller seems clueless, can't confirm and eBay car selector keeps popping something about 4WD.

eBay deal is here or https://www.ebay.com/itm/293952741312

I believe your rotors differ at least from the picture in the listing. Those look like 4wd rotors. Yours should have a hub for tapered roller bearings.

I also moved this to the brake forum.

The front rotors on a RWD ‘98 have an integrated hub in the rotor. Those are not them if the picture represents the actual product. Meaning, you will have to remove the axle nut to pull the rotor. You’ll also need to clean, inspect, and regrease the wheel bearings for installation, assuming the original bearings still look good. Otherwise, You’ll be looking at new bearings.

You’ll also want to replace the axle seal since it is unlikely you’ll be able to remove the old one off the back of the old rotor without damaging it. The seal needs to be removed to remove the inner bearing.

If you can, find a rotor that includes bearings and the seal. Removing the bearing races out of the old rotor and reseating them into the new rotor can be intimidating to someone new to this kind of work.

As stated, those are *hat* style rotors, not hub rotors.
for what it's worth you'd be better off getting the proper ones across-the-counter to avoid mess ups & not from ebay at all
