Front Posi?

Are there any advantages to getting a front limited slip unit for a daily driver? My 94 Ex does pretty well in the snow and muck, but I just wondered if putting a posi in would help? The 8.8 rear has a posi already.

In the front in the snow it's only going to make steering harder with 4x4/hubs engaged.

I have posi front and rear in my ex, steering is a bit heavier when you have the hubs locked in snow. Turning on real slick roads is a bit different but very manageable.

My ex was always great in snow, but since I put the posi in I haven't even bothered to shovel the driveway. Not even at the foot where the snow piles up from plowing the road.

Took it down a couple of seasonals where they don't plow at all, and the ex will just tractor right along. Last one I was pushing snow up over my hood and had to stop a couple times to clear the hood off just so I could see.

I'm up in GR, where do you go offroading?

I haven't done any real off-roading in a few years. I'm volunteer EMS and we sometimes have to get back in the woods (literally) to get at people. Our rig is only 2WD.
I used to do the local mud bogs and stuff, like Woods Pit or Lambert's Bog. Good times!!
My Ex does really well the way it is, have never gotten stuck yet. In fact, rarely do I even use 4x4. Maybe I'll just stick with what I have now. Thanks for the info.
