front pad question

Gotta quick question about the wear indicator scraper thing. Where is it supposed be located on front brakes on a 96 4wd? I took the brakes off without noticing their location. I think it should be outside pad on the trailing edge. Can anyone confirm?

if you didnt see it, someone probably took it off. it will be a different location on each wheel, since two of the pads are always the same, and they are on different sides... im horrible at explaining things.

test fit your pads , if it don't interfer with caliper operation it should go on the outboard side of caliper
