I have a 97 regular cab 4x4. Just finished installing new front axle u joints and new manual hubs. Bought this truck about a month ago and i noticed when you go through a pot hole with the drivers side front wheel there is a VERY noticable thump from that corner. Doesnt do it on the passenger side or if you hit a bump with both front wheels. All the ball joints are tight, bearings are good, new u joints and hubs. Everything seems tight under there. Any other ideas or anyone else had this?

did you check the radius arm bushing?sometimes you need to look close to see if it's bad....other times it's blatantly obvious.

Is it a THUMP or a ckchunk? If it's a ckchunk I'd look at sway bar links. If it's a thump I'd look at rad arm bushings.
