Front caps

I have a 1988 ford ranger ext cab project truck. I'm putting a 302 in it with twin turbos. I seen you can Change out the 88 bed with 93 splash bed but what about the front clip. Any body know if they will interchange if not what about the 89-92 clip will that fit or does anybody know how much mod it will take to convert. If anybody has done this I'd like to see pics of it.

My 88 has the 91 front end on it. The truck was owned by a buddy who rolled a 91 extended cab. He found the 88 in a junkyard and bought it so we swapped the whole front end including the doghouse over. Drilled out the spot welds and rewelded it back on.

Whatcha mean doghouse the cab of truck. I'm not wanting to change the cab just the fenders hood grill. I like the rounded head lights plus there's more options for bumper ground effects for the newer trucks

Actually my cousin did the opposite.
he had a 93 with no front end, and got 91 front end for free.

it invilved messing the front bumper horns a bit and cutting both fenders so he endedup with a 91/93 fender so it could match the door line.

then he slowly hammered the upper body line out in the 91 fenders so they match a bit more the 93 upper line
