I have a 03' ranger. Shooting on putting on a 3" body lift this winter. I been looking at the tow hooks on the frame that stick out throught the plastic part of the front bumber. When you lift the front bumber up 3" with the bumper brackets then it will hit the tow hooks. Do you cover the tow hooks with the plastic? or do you have to take the plastic off? if any one has taking the plastic of what would be a good way to trim the bottom of the bumber? i don't want to cover them up because i need to have them if i need them. This is making it hard to decide if i want one or not. Need some ideas.

Thanks

guys either take them off, take off the valance part of the bumper or trim the valance, let me see if I can find some pics.

I took my plastic piece off and never looked back. I dont know the differences between our trucks, '00 vs. '03. My fog lights wouldn't fit back on either. I took a dremel to the plastic and was able to clear the hooks but I ended up scrapping it in the end.

Good luck,
Adam

Thanks for the pics. I guess i will just have to cut it or scrap it. I will find out when the time comes. Thanks.
