I'm doing a 2" bushing lift up front and the 2wd hoses will definitely be too tight. I gotta go out and look but i dont think the 4wd ones are much longer. and apparently the stupid coil buckets have a different shape hole for them to go into. 4wd is half round with a flat spot, 2wd is hex shaped. could i get away with lines for an f150? id rather not buy super expensive aftermarket ones if i can avoid it...

okay the 4wd ones are only about 2" longer, a little too tight for my liking.

has anyone tried ttb f150 lines?

alright well ultimately theyre goin in an 89 2wd extended cab, but im using the engine crossmember and 4x4 front end from a 91 4x4 extended cab. all the calipers are the same. but im using the coil buckets from the 2wd since theyre basically like new and the ones from the 4wd truck are pretty much gone. the only difference i can see between the coil buckets are that the 4x4 ones have a half round hole with a flat spot for the tee to clip into, and the 2wd ones have a hex hole.

now for the curveball, as it is with the taller 4wd springs, my stock 2wd hoses wont reach. plus, im throwing in a 2" bushing lift while everythings apart. so now, i need substantially longer hoses, with the regular banjo bolt end, and the HEX thingy on the other end. drivers side needs to have a tee, and the passenger side needs to have a single port.

yeah i know about the aftermarket ones but theyre a ripoff. it appears as if f150s have the same ends and are about 3" longer. i can get them for less than $10 a piece on rockauto...

im just gonna order them and if they dont work ill try something else...

what about STX hi-rider lines? they should be a little bit longer right?

i dont think f150 lines are gonna work since the calipers have the banjo bolt at the bottom, all the hoses have a retarded bend in the hardline at the end.
