My bumper was rusty and looking terrible  so I wirewheeled all of the rust off, painted it a nice gloss black and added a stencil to the drivers corner. What do you guys think?

Before:

After :yahoo: :

Did a similar stencil on the rear :D :

Also I got a new shifter knob :headbang: :

Kind of, if you've ever read The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, it says that "The Meaning to Life, The Universe, and Everything is 42." Because the answer makes no sense.

nice work!! looking great, that shift knob is crazy too, looks like terminators head on the 1st movie haha!!:icon_twisted:

Thanks man did about 4 coats of tremclad.
The skull lights up at night :icon_twisted:

Looks hella lot better! Good job!

Looks just like she rolled of the showroom floor. That is a great paint job.

I had the exact same shifter knob for quite some time on my other truck. It was great and had a great feel to it up until I lost the battery and the screw to keep it together. Then it always had a tendency to come off. Even the ex used it as a weapon against me once and my hood paid the price because of it. Twas a sweet knob though.

My bumper is starting to look like yours did, and I too am going to need a repaint soon. Good work man!

Thanks man, yeah I find I have to tighten that screw every couple of days, but I can live with it. The battery is a relatively common size, so it wont be hard to replace.

I had the cig lighter version of that skull. it broke the 5th time I went to use it:annoyed:. autozone told me to **** off. So the stock lighters the way to go.

Your front bumper looks great. now you gotta paint the ass bumper

Yeah I saw the cig lighter, it looked kind of flimsy, plus mines broken anyways :D as for the rear hopefully thats next weekends project. :icon_thumby:

I also fixed my rear fenders over the weekend as they were pretty cancerous.
After scraping off all the loose paint:

After grinding off all the rust, priming, and painting:

With the flare back on:
