Ford Stealership!

Went to the dealership, 140 bucks for an oxygen sensor. Went to rockauto, got two for 120, shipped to Canada and taxes and everything. I will never buy from a dealership

Question about the locker I installed then. Its not a full locker. Its a limited slip with brand new clutches. I have to be careful with it around corners its pretty tight still. If I am gentle with it it doesn't lock if i apply light throttle it starts to chirrup 1 tire. And of course if I push it it locks right up and the truck will go sideways.

Since its locked together by the clutches 98% of the time would the thrust of the vehicle not be directly forward? since both wheels are getting equal power from the transmission instead of one getting slightly more or less on a open diff?

What did you upgrade from? How do you like it?

This is the actual alignment machine we have. Forgot to include it:

We were using one of these:

The new machine is a billion times better, and easier to use.

So this last weekend I did everything I said I was going to do. Which was change ball joints and align the front end. I did it by eye and it looks fine. drives straight. Nevertheless tomorrow morning its going in for a alignment. A friend recommended him.

Oh and the tie rod end that ford was saying they couldn't get off. Came off in about 4 seconds with a air chisel ball joint removal tool. I am not sure what moron they had working on it. But they managed to bugger up the threads by pounding on the tie rod threads. And since I know I didn't do it Cuzz honestly that is Not how you take a tie rod end or a ball joint off.

The only thing ford got right was they spotted the badly bent rear shackle which I hadn't really gone looking for yet but I knew it was something like that. and it kinda begs the question. Why was ford looking for that. I was asking for alignment. not why my trucks bed tilts to one side.

You asked for a 4 wheel alignment and those shackles are part of the suspension so ..... they're doing what you told them.

Those shackles don't have anything (directly) to do with the bed. The whole back end of the truck is tilted, not just the bed. Nothing new for a Ranger.
