ford should have done this

it looks great! Love the new build too. I still want to see more of the ranger though :)

ranger will be coming up...i promise.right now i'm so far behind that it took me a few days of thinking just to figure out where to start again.
the wife's out of town till sunday so i'm hitting everything with all i have.still have to dodge the customers, though.they hate it when i'm working on my stuff instead of theirs.

i've been driving this thing aound the yard using the rear steer.takes a bit of getting used to,but it's fun.
parallel parking is a breese-just crab it in,and tight turns gets a whole new meaning.the speed of the steering is about right for controlling it-not too fast, not too slow.

how's it coming?

nothing lately-i use it to move boats and stuff around, but all my project energy has been going into the gt.it's too cold and wet out to play with this, nice and warm in the basement.

Somehow... dunno how... I missed this thread. I remember seeing a picture forever ago, but that's all that I saw. This thing is awesome! :headbang:

you have way too much time on your hands....... but i love it:icon_twisted:

Do you have any pics of the rear underside of this bad boy?

but here it is in the vehicle-still need to make some mounts(thus the ratchet strap)but it's been pressure tested and filled with fuel as you see it here.

this one is on page 7,it's just another front end...but there's no motor over the crossmember.

Oh my, I just noticed this! I was giggling so hard I had to get up and wee... :icon_rofl:

so while i've been using the thing almost every day to move boats around, plow the driveway, and other utilitarian things....the time has come to turn the corner.it's getting set up for street duty.

stretch has to be taken out of commission for a while to get some work done on it,and i need a dailly driver.the kids will be gone for the summer,so now's the time.i have a couple of paint and body jobs to slam off, then it's hammer time on the shorty.while i won't be doing every thing i want done on it before road duty,it'll be a finished looking and operating product by mid july or so.

i'm pretty pumped about finally getting this thing in use after the three years or so i've been tinkering with it.

hey you! tailgate! pronto!
