Ford oval emblems

so i saw a while back something about changing the color from blue to something else, i saw what it looked like in red and it looks great, i was wondering if anyone else has tried this and what colors look good, i was thinking like a green or black or something metallic (if that can come in rattle can ) it seems like a fun project to boost the look of a ford vehicle

If you want to change the color and get rid of the ford logo you can go to webxtremes.com and buy a set of stickers that go over the emblems as well.

well no i don't want to get rid of the emblem and i can do it myself, i do not remember where i saw it but i was wondering if anyone else has done it and what other colors look good. from what i know you take the oval emblem use a heat gun to melt the glue and peel upthe blue portion then sand the blue off and paint it it looked cool but i was wondering what other colors look good.

When I was experimenting with colors to change mine to I tried a metallic red. Came out metallic pink. Don't do the metallic colors, they come out different than you expect. I ended up with a color I call Toxic Yellow. I'll get some pics up if I find the motivation.
