I currently have 2 Ford 4x4s, a 95 f150 and a 95 ranger. All my work has gone into the beast, but now it's time to turn the bitch into a bastard. I currently am running stock (with omg a k&n air filter) 4.0 OHV V6, and I want to supercharge it.

So who's done this before? I read a thread of modifying a Chevy 3.8, but is there one I can find designed for this truck? I would like to keep the costs down if possible, otherwise my wife is gonna ask why I don't just replace the truck with what I need...

Welcome to TRS...this is the intro thread but you might get a few replies...best to check out the 4.0 thread below...I think I read something about someone on here doing a super charger...or maybe it was a twin turbo...not sure...since I have a 4 banger I don't read many posts in those threads...

Oh, and there's also a special thread just for the boosted engines...so, read on and enjoy...post questions if you can't find what you are looking for specifically in the appropriate thread and you will have more ways to spend money than you can make it...

Edit: Sorry, more specifically it is the Forced Induction threads that might be helpful...
