For the Fuel Gurus'

do me, you local FD, and all emergency responders a favor, and NEVER use diesel or gasoline to start a fire. you will potentially injure youself and others, not to mention the fact that it is illegal, ANYWHERE you are, just call the EPA they'll tell you the same thing.

See that's the nice thing about growing up in the middle of nowhere...you use whatever is flammable to catch other stuff on fire.

Most of the buddies I have at the local VFD are some of the biggest pyros I know.

One other thing....why is everything illegal these days?

I say run it in a briggs...It proabably wont kill it if you do it right.

Well, the Briggs mower engine gets to live. It won't run on any mixture of diesel. So it looks like all my gasoline engines won't be running the mix.

But for some odd reason, we had about 2gal of the mix in an open lid 5gal bucket. Two days later, its gone. Maybe it evaporated that quickly? The rest was in a sealed 5gal gas cans.

Samsonite, I hate to say it to you, but I mess with rocket engines as a hobby. And trust me, you will not see me on the news about some idoit that had to go mess with gasoline explosive. I know better than to pour the whole 20gallons on a burn pile. All that is really needed is like a half-pint to get a good fire going.
