### **FOR SALE – 1991 Ford Ranger STX 4x4 – 5-Speed – 4.0L – 124k Miles – $6,500 OBO**
I wanted to give you guys first dibs at my truck. Im very open to offers and suggestions from yall, but I was thinking about listing around $6,500 OBO
Located in Lake Stevens, WA
I’m listing my ’91 STX 4x4 with the 4.0L and 5-speed manual. Odometer shows 124,000 original miles. This has been a solid, reliable truck for me, and I'm only parting with it because its the law of the land for our multi generational household. Having a third kid and this single cab only allows me drive 1 other person.
This is a proper STX — factory 4WD, manual hubs, manual trans, and solid options. Not many of these left in good shape with this drivetrain combo and mileage.
Maintenance & Work Done:
Under my father-in-law’s ownership:
- Upgraded casting cylinder heads (original head had a crack)
- New clutch, rear main seal, slave cylinder, throwout bearing, and clutch master cylinder
- Used sparingly — just hardware store runs
Under my ownership (15k miles added, mostly as a daily driver):
- New coil pack, spark plug wires, O2 sensor, crank position sensor (~3 years ago)
- Leveled front end + alignment
Front wheel bearings (Fall 2024) they werent even torqued properly when i dug in
New from brake calipers
- 31" tires as of last fall
- Fuel fill neck replaced (bed was pulled to do it properly)
Kenwood x300 with mb quart mids/tweeters.
New shifter bushing as well
4x4 works great. Truck runs strong and shifts smooth. No major rust — solid frame and body for the year. Interior is original and functional, not perfect, but respectable. Paint has age-appropriate wear.
Thanks for looking!
