97 Ranger fog lights not working.
All fuses are good. The lights themselves are good. The dash switch does not illuminate when pressed. Maybe it's the switch or the relay. How do I take the dash apart to gain access to the fog light switch? Where is the fog light relay located?
Thanks,
Joe

theirs 2 bolts above the climate controls.. pull those an the hole black surround comes off.. the fog light switch is screwed in to the bezel with 2 screws.. its mostly a bad connection in the switch.. pull the switch out of the holder its a pita.. then you have to open the switch also a pita an theirs a TINY copper connector on top that usually gets worn out.. ive had that happen to two of mine an i since fixed them with no problems.

Totally right! It was the switch. But before dismantling, I pressed the switch rapidly many times and it began working. I guess the connections got rubbed clean from the rapid pressing! An hour later (the now) new owner came and bought the truck and everything on the truck worked properly. I hated to see it go, that truck was very good to me! So good that I bought a new 2008!
Thanks again,
Joe
