Flame thrower

If you get rid of your cats....... then you have to lie about it when you show us how cool it is. that's the only draw back I see.

Theres a trick to move your 02 sensor and not throw a cel.

I have flame throwers in my exhaust and it works great. I have a box that is wired into the ignition system. Purchased for $20. It wires in before the coil. It cuts the power to the coil and energizes the 2 coils I have mounted in the back of the truck. Each coil is wired to a spark plug about 6" from the back of the exhaust. You rev the engine and hit the button. It cuts the coil so the fuel/air mix goes unburned through the engine and is then ignited coming out of the back of the pipes. Nice bright blue flames. I have it only on my off-road truck and is not used on the streets. The truck is carb and has not cats. Need any more info just ask.

Will that gas up your oil really bad........as in having to change it more often?

I haven't noticed any problems. But remember it's a dedicated trail rig. I only change the oil once ever other year and there is around 100-200 miles tops per change. That's only about 20 miles on the truck and the rest is spinning tires at high rpms. Me and mud. Like moths to a flame.
