"Fixd" OBD II reader thingy....

Older Chrysler minivans for some reason like to sound like they are diesels... :icon_confused:

K-Cars, too. Well, the '81 Aries 2.2 that my parents had sure ticked a lot. Remembering that makes me want to say to that engine, in a menacing voice with a russian accent, ve haf vays ov makink you tok!

If there are any Russians in the crowd, I apologize if I've offended you!

Those vans, and the K-cars were vastly under-powered, by the way. My parents tell stories of being passed by semis going UP the mountains on one of their trips.

I had a 95 with the 3.3. I thought it scooted pretty decent.

True, the V6 models had enough power to help the van get out of it's own way. The 4 bangers, though were the same 2.2l engine as the base engine in the k-car. With that engine, the K-car couldn't get out of it's own way, and the vans are heavier.

My wife had a '92 Caravan with the 3.0. They drove and rode pretty nice. In fact, I preferred to drive it in deep snow over my 2003 Sunfire.
