Five Guys Burgers & Fries (OR Best Bugers you've found!)

Lick's burgers. If you haven't had one with "Guk" sauce you haven't lived.

Unfortunatly the one and only licks around where i live closed over a year ago.

I have been going through withdrawl.

When I walked in, they had 50 LB sacks of REAL potatoes AND jugs of PEANUT oil behind the counter, and being USED!!!

Finally a chain that makes stuff the RIGHT WAY!!!!

In-N-Out has been doing that for decades...

Best burger I have ever had was from this new joint that just opened up called Six Degrees. It's owned by a young couple and they're doing a hell of a job. The place is rock n' roll themed, like the burger I got was the Dazed and Confused Burger, pulled pork pattied like a hamburger. They're fries were amazing and they're onion rings were out of this world. You will never leave hungry. And they have all the Jager you can drink! If anyone ever comes by this neck of the woods, I definitely recommend them.

5-Guys has a few locations near me. I will have to go check out said burger joint.

IMHO, Red Robin is horribly overpriced for what you get. The whole $15 for a burger and fries are an extra few bucks is absurd. And I don't think it tasted as good as getting a $6 burger, fries, and drink from BK. I'll never go back there willingly, I'd rather go across the parking lot from the local one to Chick-Fil-A.

You must have gone to a shitty red robin... The most expensive burger is like $9.50, and thats for a 2 patty 1 pounder... And bottomless steak fries FTW!

Never been to a 5 guys, it sounds like it could be good, but I am not a fan of food that is all extra greasy and whatnot...

Dammit this is making me hungry!

You cant beat mom and pop places like everyone has said but I really dig Red Robin. Theres one in Delaware I go to quite a bit. Theres a place in my home town thats a small mom and pop place called big mikes that makes some kick ass burgers:headbang:
I know its a chain but, wendy's is great too.
Its hard to get a bad burger in my eyes...:drool:

Well, I guess it was located in the snobby area of town.... :icon_rofl: I wouldn't have thought that they would have ratcheted up the prices that bad just for the area but....

Buster's Burgers in Murfreesboro, TN. Best burger I have ever eaten.

I remember Licks from when I lived in Hamilton. They were indeed very good.

However, since then I've experienced Burger Nirvana. When I was vacationing in New Orleans last month, we went to this little place in the French Quarter called Snug Harbour. It's a little hole-in-the-wall with an adjoining blueshouse. Anyway, instead of burger and fries they serve burger and stuffed baked potato. Just fantastic. The burger, btw, is steak that they grind themselves, then cook to order. Yes, you can have your burger cooked rare, i.e. bloody inside.

I also had what's called a 'Monsoon' there. It's a two-liter plastic mug filled with about a quarter of ice, a quarter of tropical fruit juice, and then filled the rest of the way with Rhum. Very tasty and DEADLY. The perfect precursor to a night on the town.

I like Runza about the best of a restaurant type place. Sonic and Don and Millie's is good too though.

I have yet to meet a rival for my charcoal grilled burgers though (or steaks for that matter)

Don and Millie's FTW! :headbang: Best Burger ever.

5 guys is probably my favorite chain - I think their fries are much better than Fatburger FWIW

best burger in nyc is molly's irish pub. don't get fooled into going into corner bistro or shake shack

We got a 5 Guys near here a year ago. They frickin rock! It's like going out to a fast food place, but getting a thick juicy burger like you'd grill on your grill at home.

I'm starting to think that we're missing out here in Canada. I've never heard of/been to a 5 guys chain. You have so many more chains in USA than we have here in Canada. I'm kinda jealous, actually.
