First photos of Maverick

I havent bought them yet but they are still in the running.

Sorry that i didnt run out and check friggin windowstickers before i posted. Next time ill do that. Jesus christ nitpicky SOB's. I was going off fords build and price tool, cause i was hoping i could *maybe* get a base model 7.3 without selling my right arm and left nut.

So 🖕
I used the same build and price tool to come up with the numbers. Still under $40k.

If I build an f250 with only 4x4 and the 7.3l that puts me at $40,565. I know it’s not under $2000 like a ‘79 cost new.

Dang wussy sissies have to have pneumatic tires.

Real trucks have solid rubber tires and drive chains!

Truck prices are freaking stupid, I just built a 1990's XLT level XL F-250 super crew yesterday online and I was over $50k.
According to carfax or one of those...my "loaded" 97 F250 HD stickered at 23,500....or thereabouts....according to inflation calculator thats 38,500 in todays money. You wouldnt touch a loaded up XLT club cab with the big gasser for that price nowadays. Not even cloae.

Thats over 40k and what i was trying to say with the original post was that 40k is about 15-20k to much.

Rubber tires? What a bunch of candy-asses, real men drive vehicles with steel tires! And no pesky emissions crap, either......

Steel wheels were better. Lasted basically forever, traction on anything, and no flats or air to worry about

So you want an f250 for $20-25k... maybe this Maverick will be closer to what you can afford.

We get it. You can't handle admitting when you've made things up and they turn out to be wrong. It's hard being called out.

They still wear out and they take more power and fuel. Slower and horrid ride too.

Steel to pneumatic tires was like going from hunting with a sharp stick to a 30-06.

I didnt make anything up. 40k is what i said and 40k is what it turned out to be.

I can afford an SD...but i choose not too...why would i pay 40k+ for a truck that wont really do anything mine wont and is more complicated, etc?

That abomination of a maverick will never grace my driveway.

Steel wheels are great and give fantastic mileage - if you run them on rails ;)

Probably not so good on a washboard road....

No, they just suck on roads. Illegal in most areas to drive on pavement.

My tater digger and hay rake are on steel. Never have to fuss over a tire. They go slow and bounce all over on gravel but again... never have a flat tire and I don't ride 'em so they can just do whatever as they cross the driveway twice a year.

Tires ? Tires ? Don't need no stinkin tires !!!
