I bought my truck at 60k miles and changed the tranny fluid/filter and have been changing the fluid filter about every 30k miles since then. Now at 140 (which isnt a lot) but I think the auto tranny is in better condition than the motor!
still has nice firm shifts and shifts very smooth when at operation temp. I will always change tranny fluid at 30k mile intervals.
