Interesting. I also noticed an XLS trim and no (STX) in the pamphlet, but no mention of it in the "sales" brochure. {post #4}

Yeah, STX was a west coast only option in '85. In' 86 it went nationwide.

XLS is somewhat similar in principle for the rest of us.
 
Is anything like this implemented is today's "sales tactics"? Some car salespeople need one of those pocket guides. It amazes me how little they know about actual cars, much less the one they are trying to get me to buy.

After a month working in the parts department at a dealer... no idea. For what it is worth mine looks hardly used.

As soon as a new one shows up it is almost a torch and pitchfork affair with people wanting it right now.
