firebird tranny leak

i got a 86 firebird, it was a project car but we cant seem to get the tranny to quit leaking.

we fixed it once and it didnt work so we did it again, and it still didnt work

we believe its coming from the pan itself but after 2 gaskets it wont stop

any ideas?

have you checked the pan it's self for a pin hole?

no, not entirely

it caught fire once and burnt the kick down cable so we had to take the pan off and it still leaks, ill have to cheack and see

it gave new meaning to FIRETURD

drain the fluid and let it sit overnight. come back and clean the pan rail.use silicone on the pan and put your gasket down and let it sit for a while . then install the pan and let it sit for a while before you add fluid.
