1. all this talk about the snow, to give everyone an idea of how my weekend went with the snow; saturday I had to work (7am-3:30pm) and around 2pm one of my drivers walks into the shop asking for some help, his truck (semi with 2x27ft trailers) was stuck at the end of our road. had to go dig him out and ask the city to plow our road so he could get into the yard. got that all delt with and finally got to leave 1 1/2 hours late (overtime!!) took almost 2hrs to get home. cleaned the driveway and went to bed.
spent all day sunday pulling all of our trucks out of the snow banks/plow piles so they could run loads. and then this morning I go in and spent 5.5 hours shoveling snow off of trailers and here are some numbers for you guys to think about;
cleaned off a total of 14 trailers in 5.5 hours (average of 2.54545454 trailers per hour)
removed approximately 3,765 lbs of snow off each trailer
for a grand total of 52,710 lbs of snow shoveled, thats just over 26 tons!!!!
had a pile of snow that reached the top of the trailers which is 13' 6" tall.
2. as far as a meet goes I have been thinking about this for awhile now and even have a couple of ideas for places, I will make some calls and such and see if I can find a place that would be cool to gather at. let me know if you perfer bars or regular resteraunts or more of a diner type of thing. and roughly how many peeps are gonna show. not sure about a place to ride yet but I'll see if I can come up with somethin'.
