Ive posted this link before on the old forum, But since gas is up and where on a new board w/ some new members here it is again.

Ive seen that before and tried it. Its not really worth it for me to drive 15 mi one way to the next town for cheap gas though.

That is a cool idea I guess if you live in a big city, but hear, You always know which of the four gas stations is the cheapest. QFC is cheapest, then Circle K, then Safeway, then Chevron is the most expensive. I payed 3.07 on Saturday for gas. I always use QFC though even if Circle K is cheaper, becuase I think Circle K's gas is crap. It makes the engine ping, when the same grade fuel at the other stations don't make it do that.

I suppose it gives one a sense of independence but in reality means little. If your tank holds 20 gallons you save a buck if the difference is 5 cents. What it does do is show the complete dominance the oil cartel has over us. Having people trying to save nickels while CEO's are having their best year promising multi million dollar bonuses to the fortunate few is just another kick in the pants to the working poor. What REALLY pisses me off is that we are virtually powerless to do anything about it.
Heating oil is now $ 3.00 a gallon. Don't expect it to go down. Damn it , I'm normally an upbeat type of guy.
