I only need one. I think my Ranger's up for a road trip next summer. Maybe RSH can come up an join us!

A Crazy Canuck, a Nutty New Englander, and an insane Honduran. Why do I get a feeling that sounds like a bad movie tag line?

get a camera....we could make our own bad movie.

NICE!!! Still like the fishies. Great pics - makes me wish it wasn't 104 here. I just want to creep indoors and chill out. Uh - could cook the fishes on the half shell. Little lemon, salt, pepper, olive oil ...mmmmm

if you get tired of fish, there's lots of these big rats around.they're pretty tasty too.

this guy impressed me-hand made this 22' cedar canoe from cutting the trees, milling the wood, and putting it all together.takes it out to do all the ocean fishing the bigger boats do-i don't know how but he hauls the big halibut over the side of this, that's hard enough with two people in a wide boat.

Beautiful trip mate. I'll eventually try my hand at camping...one of these days.

Gawi i, Jealous is not the word for that trip. Last time I fished the East coast I took my son out on a head boat out of Mount Pleasant SC. He had a blast and I was sicker than $h!t. He teased the hell out of me due to the fact I had spent 9 years in the Navy. 7 years on Tender, Ammo ships and Destroyers. Fished for Blues in Chesapeake Bay. Spotted bass in Charleston. Striper in Lake Moultrie. Now if I want a nice Wiper or Crapie I have to drive an hour or more.

4 hours over logging roads for this trip.worth every minute.i still get a touch of seasickness every now and then too,no big deal,it passes.mostly on the big rollers.

Hand built canoes like that are pretty cool. You ever seen the wood-strip kayaks people make with different colored wood strips in patterns? Some of those are amazing. I thought about making one once, figured out roughly how much time it would take, and gave up for now.

theres a tight little surfing community here, one of the guys is making a surfboard like that-several different colors of wood...looks pretty cool so far, looking forward to seeing it done.
