finally new rims!!

*Borat Style* "Wawaweewa, king in the castle"

Those looks awesome RSH, I liked 'em when you posted up before but the effort you put into buffing them paid off in spades! Looking real good.

yeah i like em even more now!!:D
and still can get them more shiny...
the 2nd pic is my fav

Nice rims!:headbang: How are you buffing them? I just started using a powerball and that thing is amazing! :bling:

thanks!!:D
metal polish compund, some clean clothes and the brute force of....my arms:D
next session will be: first rubbing compund to remove lil scratches and all the stains and sticked dirt, then more polishing stuff.
the metal polisher says chrome. alum and many other, i use it on my exhasut tip and bullbar works amazing

The cleaner you get the rims....... the more imperfections they will show!!!

I'd just hit a big mud-hole and forget all the shine.

Frank

They look good!

wanna know somin wierd .. i just polished mine yesterday... hahaha

Those look good! I like 'em :icon_thumby:

Are you sure they're 15x8 though?

I have the same rims on my truck in 15x8 and they have a deeper dish.

Maybe just the backspacing though. Mine are 3.75 inch.

Oh yeah, I got charged more for an alignment because of them.

Had to get it aligned after I swapped in the D35. Luckily I am friends with a guy who owns a garage that does alignments.

Since those wheels don't really have a lip that the alignment heads hooked on, they had to deflate the tires to attach them. Plus my tires have a rimguard that kind of countersinks the rim. :dunno:

tygershark: seems like the rim polishing disease is spreading lol!
cjrex: actually theyre 15x7, i checkd it cuz i wasnt that sure(i wasnt there when they mounted them, i was getting the cash:D) the guy told me that they were 15x8 but wasnt completely sure, theyre 15x7, but deff stick out more than the stock 15x7 i had, didint check the backspacing:annoyed: do you have any thread from when u put those rims?? i thought i saw a thread about it and i went crazy looking for it :icon_twisted:

oo and for the alignment, over here in honduras for those rims without the "lip" we have 2 options:
1.mount the normal head on the inner lip
2.mount some glued heads on the inner lip too
this rims have the normal one in the inner lip, but we dont deinflate the tire here:dunno: why u do it??

:icon_rofl: hey and all the things u were waiting for your truck?? any pics there??

Oh don't you worry lil buddy :icon_hornsup:

I've got a lot of photo's sitting around of both trucks.... I was trying to stage it out and show what would look how so I didn't just toss it all on at once and snap a shot.
my 97 ranger sits as she has for the past 3 years, but I think I've been inspired by how b/a my black truck looks and I want to lift it and put my 245/70/16 stocker wheels and tires on.

but on the 2004
I put some 1in wheel spacers on my stock wheels and took pics (awesome btw rode way better)
t.bar twist
the bull bar, the reciever......... the lift, now i just have to get off work in time to go get my wheels and tires put on.
Then I'm getting the truck detailed.
and I got some speakers for it, but i want to find a conversion so I'm not splicing wires.

Frank

btw, I washed my black truck yesterday...... it was dirty in under 25mins, I can't wait till my tires stick out an extra 3 inches or so!!! lol

I wish you'd fix up my work truck honduran style.
