chevy 63's are good, for about around 2" of lift i think... and good n flexy but require work to make them fit.

add a leafs to your leaf pack would work- just make it stiffer

superlift= expensive option, i'd do the 63 swap before i did this..

shackles- belltech 6400's

blocks- i have nothing bad to say about the blocks i have that came w/ my RC lift... doesn't change ride quality, lifts it cheap, doesn't change flex...

I am looking for 4" of lift and good offroading capabilities. So far it looks like spending the extra cash for the skyjacker leafs is the best option. Not to mention the bragging rights from using a well known brand, then i can put like 50 stickers on lol jk

on my old truck I made a leaf pack using leaves from an explorer and the stock ranger pack, that with a belltech 6400 shackle and a 3" block netted me about 5-6" lift, and cost me a wopping 100$ total

my point is, there are ways to make a rig perfectly capable, look good, and not spend a ton of cash. Go to the junkyard, see what you can find, and get creative.

Thanks for the input Nathan. But would the skyjacker leafs not perform alot better? That, and i have no experience with this stuff as it is, let alone putting together peices of other truck's stuff to make a custom job lol.

It's not too hard. Sometimes you'll need all new bolts as you probably know when a trucks old bolts snap like nothin. I actually wish I could buy the front end parts from superlift... I don't want or need their shocks... And I do not need a stiffer rear end. I'm at a stand still till I do something to my front end.
Too bad you didnt catch those kids... If you could of beaten em up or not there are ways...

Ya.. i wish i could find out who it was. Im hoping someone slips up eventually and starts bragging because in that case i will find out from friends lol. But either way, nothing can be done to get it fixed other than me doing it myself. There would be no way to link someone to it. At least its not too bad, i would have been p!ssed if i had my new lights and grill on at the time and they got smashed. I'm just hoping things even out for the punks.

As for the chevy leafs, how do they compare to other options in terms of offroad ability and DD-abilty? I guess compared to skyjacker leafs and stock (if i went with blocks). Im not going for a rear end to haul with, i want something that will perform decent offroad. I could care less if i cant haul crap with my little 1/4-ton

Goddamn... So it looks like i hit the last bump on my ranger's road life. This sucks alot, but my rear end effed up now too. Spider gears are ripped to shyt. So that i can hope for a 500 dollar fix. I do not think it is worth it for this one... :/ Man, not been a good run with this one. Great truck, but have had the worst luck with it and on top of that its almost 300XXXkms are showing more and more. I dont think its going to be worth fixing upwith the exterior like it is and all the other parts that are likely close to failing as well. . Which is a real bummer since i love this truck.

Sorry for the threads guys, seems wasted now lol I guess ill be selling the lift kit in town and seeing if i can get another good vehicle. Sucks that i am 17 and therfore am not old enough to be put on a loan myself. I could afford 2 loans, lol i make a minimum 330 bi-weekly. But i dont have a co-signer so i cant. And saving for a 3/4 year doesnt sound appealing to me. Ahhh losing your first car, one of life's great bummers. Hopefully eventually i can get a newer ranger and pick up where i left off. Possibly something that they will fix if i get in another accident instead of me going thru all this again lol

you can get rear axles from junkyards for CHEAP. i wish i were closer, id give you one just to see her back up and running.
weld it all together and not worry about the spider gears any more!

I know, and i definitely would... BUT I mayself have no clue where to start on that swap or i would just take this importunity to go to a 8.8 rear. And this just pushes me farther away from wanting to use this as my project since the parts all seem to be showing its age. Not that everything will collapse on me now, but everything at best is bound to be weak and pushing it isnt really smart lol. Maybe ill find a way to get some cash together and buy one of the fine rigs from you guys down in the US and get a truck without all the crap that 20+years of Canada's worst weather does...
