So I've been a member here for a little while now and I figured I should probably properly introduce myself, and my truck.

My name's Chris, I'm 22. I live in Delaware and I've been installing floors for a living for almost 3 years. I'm hopefully going to start going to school for automotive mechanics later in the year.

So onto my truck, Dorothy. I bought her from a plumber who had owned her the past five years. He had a work truck that he used during the week and only used her for the occasional hauling and weekend side jobs. She spent a long time sitting. Long enough for some bees to think she would make a good home.

Here she is sitting on the street corner before I bought her. At first I thought the clear coat had completely faded.

But much to my surprise, with a little water and elbow grease...

I still need to pick up a vent cover from a junk yard and replace the driver side leaf spring to fix the famous ranger lean...but that's about all that's left.

So here she is, clean and proud. Sitting in her new home in front of my house. I couldn't be happier with her.

lol, I'm actually named Christopher, an ex girlfriend shortened it to Topher around five years back and it just stuck.

Anyway, I'm glad you guys like my truck. I haven't even had it two months and I've already found help with an ass load of projects on it here.

Ain't that the truth. I was spending almost an hour a day reading threads on here even before I bought my truck. You can never learn enough.

Thanks a lot for the compliments guys.

he is from newark too , i just got schooled a little while ago on the difference in pronunciation between newark delaware , and newark new jersey

lol, I have to explain that one to people a lot. That's pretty cool about your roomate. Does he drive a ranger too?

i just found this thread, even though the last time anyone replied to it was over 10 months ago, and i have to say that is one mint ranger! it even still has the motorcraft radiator hoses with legible writing on them! when you gonna start a build thread or 'mini mod' thread for this truck?
