finally did the blinker mod on the 03

i finally figured out how to take out the headlight assembly lol
so i did the blinker mod to both trucks

Nice mod! I don't think that would fly here in Utah. They are pretty picky about stuff like that. I just bought all clear lights for my Mustang......hoping I can sneak that by them

Yeah, there ain't anything wrong with it... like RSH said, if anything, it adds safety... well, no-one pays attention to turn signals anyway... its the thought that counts I guess lol.

Idk about the clear lights though, do they have orange reflectors? Hope they sneak by anyway...

on my truck its not that noticeable, but on the 03 u can deff see it.

the escort and focus are this way so i think it wont give u trouble on a safety inspection

My buddy's Mustang failed because his foglights wouldn't turn on. We had to rewire them to pass safety. There's probably some shops that look past it, but most of them say it has to be factory. As far as my new lights, there is no orange at all in them. They might look "slightly" orange with bulbs in them, but I won't be able to tell for a couple weeks because it's all torn apart at the body shop.

I know that this mod is legal in CT, and I would assume it's legal in any other state. I'm actually planning on doing this myself (if wasn't legal, I wouldn't be doing it), except I'm wiring mine up to be compatible with LED markers.

Thats a bit odd... 99% of the time there's idiots driving around with their fogs and headlights on, and its bright as hell. You'd think they wouldn't care. Should've just taken them out completely and put some mesh in the hole instead...

I don't know why a mod that increases visibility would be illegal. I like this mod, but I have a third gen with only one bulb for the blinker. Looks really good though.
