I decided that I'm goin to run fiberglass fenders and bedsides on my 4x4 but I don't know how wide I should go. Should I run the 4" or 6". I want it to cover the tires but not to where it looks goofy. Any input would be good. Thanks guys

I'd go 4", but thats me, 8" would be goofy

Yeah I figured that much. Just don't want to keep gettin pulled over. Cops already love my truck.lol

It depends on many variables, do the SAS first then figure out how large of fenders you need\

What he said! No idea what your running for a diff, or tires... or rims so theres no way we can make an accurate suggestion.

My fenders are supposed to be 5" but measure out closer to 3" bulge and they just covered a 14.50 wide tire on a 10" on a EB D44... Now on tons and 42's, there's 8" of tire hanging out!

How wide a tire are you gonna run or have now? 6 inch will look good with a bit of wider tires. 4 inch fenders will look great on narrower tires. Just Google the 'glass fenders you want and see what they look like mounted on a truck. Easy as pie!!!

I plan on running a 3/4 ton d44 and d60 with a 35-37x12.50"tires and trail worthy fab wheels.

I have just a little above stock, but plan on 33's here in the next couple weeks.i tried to google it but there aren't many first gens with those fenders on them.

With the mid width tires (mine are 15") and H1 rims I'd guess a 4" fender would work well for you. Best bet is to measure and order glass AFTER you build it....

I figured that would be the best bet but thought maybe I could get away with it.lol

besides the width of the tire showing some states also go by the height of tire showing to mandate getting a traffic ticket.

height of tire showing? please explain. doesn't the whole height always show on a truck? i guess unless you get into somethin runnin low pro's tucked up inside the fenders.

Idk about where you're at but here the bumper has to be level with the middle of the tire(without mudflaps)and the tire can't stick more than 2" past the outside of the fender(without flares)
